I am beginning my 26th year of teaching- 21 of those at East Coffee. I have taught many grades- K, 4, 5, and 7. My husband and I have 6 kids- 5 boys (Nathan, Jaiden, Caiden, Landon, and Braxton) and 1 girl (Karrington. We stay very busy and on the road a lot with our kids playing multiple sports. I definitely enjoy many things outside of my career... the beach is my heaven on Earth!!!! Fall time is for watching football, especially the UT Vols! I am a concert lover... Kenny Chesney being my absolute FAVORITE!!!!! As a family, we love spending time in our pool, camping, vacationing anywhere but the ballfield, and just hanging out at home. 

As a teacher, I have experienced a great deal over the years. The Covid pandemic, by far, was the most challenging year ever! However, I learned so much from my students, colleagues, and parents. I am truly thankful to be in the profession I am. For the first time ever, I feel like teachers are being seen through different eyes. There is more appreciation for them than ever! I am proud to call myself one and will continue to make myself a better educator! East Coffee is more than a school... we are a FAMILY and take great pride in that!
